Za! & El día de la bestia

Music & movie (in Spanish) in Arrecife.
Tickets: here (for sale on the 26th of May at 9am).
The Festival Sonidos Líquidos presents ZA! the irreverent duo formed by Edu Pou and Pau Rodríguez. The group will celebrate their anniversary by providing their music for the film El día de la bestia, the hilarious and fast-paced film by Álex de la Iglesia which, three decades after its release, maintains alarmingly valid its sharp portrayal of the worst facets of contemporary society. Corruption, media manipulation and social decadence form part of this looming apocalypse.
ZA! is celebrating its anniversary. Twenty years twisting the limits of rock, using humour, virtuosity and a lot of imagination. In this time, they have managed to shape a project that blurs the boundaries between genres, a vortex in which the apparent disorder is a programmed chaos in which everything seems to fit. Loops reign in a cocktail that combines jazz, metal, syncopated tribal rhythms and martial electronica.
