An unconventional guided tour through the historic centre of Arrecife on the 21st & 28th of September and the 5th & 12th of October , 2024.
Note: This tour is in Spanish.
Departing at 📍11:00 from the Islote de Fermina and it will be a 2 and a half hour tour.
You won’t find Siri repeating the same old rant: in charge of the tour will be @damianfromm, a guide with an informal narrative but brimming with the historical rigour that this profession demands.
Damian has a degree in Art History and has been an official tour guide since 2017, first in Granada, then in Budapest, Toulouse and now playing at home.
What will we do on this tour?
〰️ You’ll see how general history can be broken down into perfect crumbs of popular small history.
〰️ You’ll get to know well the history of Arrecife and Lanzarote: from the views of the Ajaches to the Gran Hotel, a bit of everything.
〰️You’ll appreciate the best figures little or not known by tourists (physicist Blas Cabrera, doctor Molina Orosa, El Aguaresío…).
〰️You’ll enjoy a vermouth at @barstrava halfway through the tour and something else at @laminocadelcharco and then it’s up to everyone to make the most of it.
Price: 10 € (doesn’t include what you drink in the bars, but they’ll offer something complimentary).
