At Lanzarote airport the expected Spotter Day from 09:30** (see point 1) to 17:30 hours. For all those interested in attending, the following information, rules and requirements for access to the interior of the airport are required:

1. It is compulsory to wear a reflective waistcoat and to have a valid ID card, NIE or passport (EU/Schengen only) in order to enter the airport premises.
Maximum punctuality at the entrance time, so it will be requested to be present at 09:00 at the access point to General Aviation, next to the Cargo Terminal (see link to map at the end), to proceed with the identification and reception of the accreditation to all SPOTTERS who have successfully completed their registration and thus start photographing around 09:30.

2. The maximum authorised capacity is 25 people. Access will be allowed to any person over 15 years old. In the case of minors (16-17 years old) they must be accompanied, ‘sponsored’, by an adult spotter and responsible for the event, with the authorization of their parents or legal guardians, being this rule highly strict since, otherwise or for non-compliance, they will not be allowed to enter the airport premises, without being responsible for their situation in any case by the organization.

3. It is recommended to bring some food from home (e.g.: chocolate, fruit, sandwich…). Liquids will be limited at the security checkpoint according to the regulations (100ml maximum per container, in total 1L), because of this the airport will offer water.

4. The place arranged for our activity will be in the vicinity of the firefighters’ practice area during the morning, regardless of the runway in use: 03 or 21.

In the afternoon we will set up near the runway 03 (E4) waiting point or, if the runway in use is runway 21, it will be an area near the fire station / SSEI, still to be confirmed by Aena.

* See link to map below.

** Photographic note: the focal range of the spotting locations ranges from 30-40mm approx for an A320 / B737, or 40-50mm for an ATR72.

5. Due to the high incidence of wind on the island, any rubbish generated must be deposited in the appropriate place and at the appropriate time or kept with our belongings until it can be thrown in a rubbish bin.

6. Clothing and equipment: Wear comfortable clothing and footwear, wear a hat/visor or sun cream (100ml) to protect you from the sun, etc. Tripods and/or portable saddles are permitted.

7. The indications given by the organisation of the event must be respected, both those described above and those that may be made known at any time, even during the day; otherwise, the organisation reserves the right to refuse admission or expel the participant.

8. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any changes to the event as airport operations and security will prevail.
Having said all this, the registration period is open until October 27th at 23:59 local time, or earlier in case the number of applications exceeds the limit and then the deadline will be notified.
