Reserva de la SONOSFERA
September 18 @ 19:00
FreeScreening of the montage ‘Sonosphere Reserve’ at Jameos del Agua.
🌊 The naturalist Carlos de Hita draws the map of Lanzarote with the brushes of the wind, the sea and the voices of birds.
The organisation has arranged a free bus for those interested in attending by public transport.
With the wind as the absolute protagonist and the chorus of the thousand voices of the sea and birds, the sound technician, tourist guide writer and documentary scriptwriter, Carlos de Hita, has composed a natural symphony, the soundscape ‘Sonosphere Reserve’.
The collaborative work between the office of the Biosphere Reserve of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Centres of Art, Culture and Tourism has allowed the recording and editing of a tour of the natural areas of the territory, which shows how nature narrates itself for those who want to listen to it.
The final 20-minute document consists of a selection of images of the island’s ‘most talkative’ places, the soundtrack of which is the territory’s own story. Prior to the broadcast, Carlos de Hita will give a brief overview of his experience and details of the work in the field and present it to the audience.
Free entrance but registration required. Those interested in attending can book their place through the following link: here.
