Paco Perera is a musician who embodies a contemporary vision of sound art rooted in tradition. As a double bass player, bassist and composer, his work is deeply nourished by Canarian folklore, but he does not stop at mere preservation: he transforms it, reinterprets it and projects it into the future.

In his creative approach, he establishes a bridge between the ancestral and the modern, fusing acoustic and electric elements, the autochthonous and the global. This hybridisation allows him to build a musical proposal rich in nuances, where cultural identity becomes the starting point for artistic exploration and sonic innovation.

After being nominated in three categories of the Premios Canarios de la Música 2022 – Best Song of the Year, Best Roots Music Album and Best New Artist – for his first album Tájara, he presents us with a new delivery of songs and arrangements of traditional Canarian music with an elaborate staging and a dynamic and entertaining live performance.
