El Almacén’s Cine Buñuel presents the latest film by the prestigious American director and screenwriter Paul Schrader, in which he shows the most experimental and raw side of his cinema. Based on the novel The Abandonments by the American writer Russell Banks, the film weaves a complex tale of memory and regret, reflecting past mistakes and the desire for redemption.

Synopsis: A famous Canadian documentary filmmaker, stricken with terminal cancer, gives one last interview to one of his former students to tell him the whole truth about his life. A confession filmed in front of his wife.
