Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!
December 6 @ 18:30 - 23:30
€45Following the stellar success of our “Night with ABBA” event last year, we are thrilled to be back at Restaurante Natura in Playa Blanca again in 2024 with our gala fundraising dinner dance in aid of Living With Parkinson’s. By (hugely!) popular demand, we will be welcoming back Rachel and Karen to entertain us with their ABBA tribute act – guaranteed to get you on the dance floor! It really is Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!
All tickets include a welcome drink plus a three course dinner. After dining, we will again host our charity auction (the perfect way to support the charity AND get some Christmas shopping done!), before we all hit the dancefloor to boogie the night away.
Park & Ride:
Not based in Playa Blanca? No problem! A free shuttle bus will be running to bring residents from elsewhere on the island down to the Playa Blanca – no need to drive or book a taxi! Pickups will be available from two locations, the Post Office in Costa Teguise and Calle Anzuelo in Puerto del Carmen.
**Be sure to reserve your free space on the shuttle bus when booking your tickets.**

Charity auction:
Before our band takes to the stage, we will be holding our charity auction. We have an amazing selection of items that have been generously donated by local businesses that will be up for auction on the night. If you are unable to attend the evening (or just want to get in on the action early!) you can place an early silent bid for your preferred item. If yours is highest amongst the advanced bids, this will become the reserve bid for that item and, if there are no larger bids on the night, you will secure that item.
Our nominated charity:
Living With Parkinson’s aim is to offer support to those living on the island with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions and (importantly) also their caregivers. Studies show that 1 in every 32 people will be affected by Parkinson’s and its debilitating conditions. Currently there is little or no support available on the island and LWP want to change that by raising awareness and much needed funds via events like this one in order to offer
- support for care-givers via short respite assistance,
- activities and seminars on topics such as nutrition, movement, relaxation techniques etc
- aids / equipment in the home
- longer term, surgeries offering counselling and medical advice
“None of us know what is around the corner for ourselves or our loved-ones. With 1 in 32 people affected these conditions will, most likely, touch someone we know. We are starting from scratch to build this facility – but with your help, together we are stronger.” – Janet Harper, Co-Founder of Living with Parkinson’s
