LORCA Award 2023 for Best Flamenco Dance Show and the latest choreographic creation by the DDCdanza company. Daniel Doña, one of the foremost figures in contemporary Spanish dance, has established himself as a tireless explorer of movements, traditions, and avant-garde expressions. In this performance, he presents a work that moves and stirs the most recent historical memory of our country with a syncretic, feminist, and unbiased vision, transforming suffering, fear, and tragedy into a song of freedom.

Entre hilos y huesos is a lament and denunciation, a poetic justice expressed through avant-garde and daring dance that navigates between tradition and contemporaneity. It takes refuge in flamenco and the songs of yesteryear but overflows and explodes in its relevance. It is a moment of silence for those who were expelled from history but also an exercise in memory that focuses on the blind spots of our past, towards the voices of the artists who fell into oblivion.
