El Almacén’s Cine Buñuel presents ‘Bird’, a lively social drama from the suburbs by British filmmaker Andrea Arnold that surprises with a fantastic touch. A story of survival, but also a celebration of life, with a poetic twist that mixes two styles: social realism and magical realism.

Synopsis: Twelve-year-old Bailey lives with her single father Bug and brother Hunter in a squat in north Kent. Bug has little time for his children and Bailey, approaching puberty, seeks attention and adventure on her own.
