The Prosegur Albéniz Quartet, created at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in 1995, starred in the concert at the Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium. It is currently directed and tutored by professors Rainer Schmidt, Alastair Tait and Heime Müller. Among its awards and mentions it has received from the hands of Her Majesty Queen Doña Sofía the Diploma for the most outstanding String Group in its category in several academic years.
