A Few Colors
July 2 @ 18:30Free
Jazz concert in a magical setting: the Mirador of Haría.
Eliseo Lloreda (guitar), Felu Morales (bass) and Pedro Marcos Volf (drums) form A Few Colors, a jazz fusion and flamenco trio that in 2019 presented their first album, Hostile Environment, recorded entirely in the Canary Islands in the Arena Digital studios and under licence from the Multitrack record label.
The trio was born at the end of 2017 in a simple meeting in Tacoronte, (Canary Islands, Spain) by Pedro Marcos and Eliseo Lloreda, with the aim of making only “the music that pleases us the most”, fighting against the commercial music industry.
A Few Colors had the opportunity to present their work live with a tour that took them to the United States, Europe and, of course, the Canary Islands. Their album has had great media coverage, with reviews published in the written and digital press (La Vanguardia, Diario de Avisos, El Día, Canarias Creativa, Canarias Diario) and also in other international publications such as Miami News Times or Studio Road.Eliseo Lloreda has more than twenty albums under his belt. Guitarist, composer and arranger of A Few Colors, he is therefore a fundamental part of the trio. He brings unrivalled charisma and experience, has toured most of the international jazz festivals and given numerous master classes. He brings art and delicacy to every chord.
Felu Morales, bassist, joins at the beginning of 2018 with a different concept, with a particular sound, with fretless instrumentation to give greater fluidity and harmonic freedom. He has more than 40 years of experience on stage, having collaborated with great Spanish jazz artists such as Perico Sambeat, Jorge Pardo or Polo Ortíz among others.
Pedro Marcos Volf, drummer, composer and artistic director of A Few Colors positions himself as an ideologist, with fresh air coming from jazz fusion. He gives a touch of young, innovative and sonorous spirit to the final essence of the AFC trio. Multi-instrumentalist with countless international collaborations, he is currently opening up the market in the United States and Central Europe.
