Religious Music Canarian Festival in Arrecife.

Tomás Luis de Victoria (*c.*1548 – 1611), considered one of the most important composers of the Spanish Renaissance, masterfully captured the balance and technical purity of sacred music. This composer from Ávila not only made a significant contribution to sacred music, but also transcended stylistic and aesthetic boundaries, foreshadowing Baroque expressivity.

Bach frequently set chorale texts that originated from the Lutheran Reformation, as well as poems by contemporary authors such as Salomon Franck and Christian Friedrich Henrici (Picander). While Bach never seems to have strayed from Lutheran orthodoxy, there are moments where his music suggests an affinity with Pietist spirituality—a devotional movement that, from the late 17th century, was particularly active in Leipzig under the influence of Alsatian theologian Philipp Jacob Spener.

For those of you not familiar with the band it consists of 10 of the island’s finest musicians and we play an eclectic mix of music from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Robert Cray,Boz Scaggs,Steely Dan, to name but a few.

Doors will be open at 15h.

A musical and scenic experience in Arrecife.

Ludwig van Beethoven, the genius from Bonn, is looking for inspiration to compose his most famous symphony. Accompanied by his friends Elisa and Nikolaus, he will embark on a musical journey through Europe through his most popular melodies. This brilliant musical and scenic project is part of the Class-ik Cycle of the Nino Díaz Foundation and is aimed at family and children audiences.

Beethoven’s arrangements of songs from different countries for piano, violin, cello and voice are the basis of this show. A song to the fraternity between peoples with Beethoven’s music. A musical and scenic experience that not only celebrates the genius of Beethoven, but also introduces children to the world of classical music in a fun and educational way.
